As a budget eater; taste, price and portion are the only things that matter. Fish Streat has succeeded in fulfilling all three.
The fish is cooked well, with a nice batter that doesn't overwhelm the taste of the fish.
The price is where Fish Streat dominates. It's the only place that serves Fish & Chips at such a low price. Where other restaurants would charge you around 100k for one portion, you only need to pay 30k here.
The portion is exceptionally satisfying for its price. So much that a hungry college student like myself am able to leave here without ordering seconds.

For those who are looking for a lively place to eat or an authentic plate of Fish & Chips can look away.
The restaurant decor is acceptable to say the best. Plain white wallpaper decorated by the odd attempt at making a retro feel by orange benches. In addition speakers were installed but there was no music played. Topped off with the strange positioning of tables makes Fish Streat not the nicest places to eat.
Finally for those who are looking for authentic Fish & Chips similar to those found on beaches abroad, Fish Streat fails not only to provide the basics of condiments of salt, pepper and vinegar, but also the a good helping of mushy peas which are must for a proper Fish & Chip shop.
As a college student on a tight budget but looking for something different to eat. I would highly recommend this.
But as someone who grew up eating Fish & Chips in Britain. I would not come here to expect a similar experience.
